- Day – 1 – GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (110 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Assistance On arrival and then visit the famed Kamakhya Temple. Then transfer to Shillong en route – take a photo stop at Umiam Lake. On arrival check & Overnight in Shillong.
- Day – 2 – SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE (56Kms)
Day trip to Cherrapunjee enroute visit Shillong Peak and then proceed to Elephant Falls before finally leaving for Cherrapunjee – the wettest place on earth where we will be exploring the Mausmai Caves, the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Ramakrishna Mission. Return to Shillong and stay overnight.
- Day – 3 – SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI – SHILLONG (100 Kms / 2-3 hrs one way)
Day trip to Mawlynnong – the cleanest village in Asia. The saying seeing is believing seems to be so apt for this village. This is an experience in itself. We will explore the living root bridge and the tree house in the village. Then we proceed to Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh Border) to experience boating in crystal clear water of Umngot River. Overnight in Shillong.
- Day – 4 – SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA (320 kms / 7 Hrs)
Drive to Kaziranga National Park, the abode of one horned rhinoceros enroute visit Don Bosco Museum which is one of the best maintained museums in India and which showcases the rich indigenous culture of North Eastern states. On reaching Kaziranga we checked in at a hotel and relax. Overnight in Kaziranga.
- Day – 5 – KAZIRANGA LOCAL TOUR
We shall start early in the morning for an optional Elephant ride inside the park which is a world heritage site. After elephant safari, breakfast at lodge. Later Jeep safari for 2 hours inside the Park. Afternoon visit the Orchid garden and Hatiguli Tea Estate. Overnight in Kaziranga.
- Day – 6 – KAZIRANGA – DIRANG (270 Kms / 7-8 Hrs)
After breakfast leave for Dirang via Bhalukpong and Bomdila, In route visit Tipi Orchid Research Centre. Overnight in Dirang.
- Day – 7 – DIRANG – TAWANG (140 Kms / 6-7 Hrs)
Drive passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colorful tribes, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft.) and spend some lovely times by the paradise lake Overnight in Tawang.
- Day – 8 – TAWANG LOCAL TOUR
Half day explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during the 17th century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama, Tawang War Memorial, Urgelling Gompa (birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama and Giant Buddha Statue. Overnight at Tawang.
- Day – 9 – TAWANG – BOMDILA (180 Kms / 6-7 Hrs)
Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breathtaking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jaswant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and down hill drive to Bomdila via Dirang. Overnight in Bomdila.
- Day – 10 – BOMDILA – GUWAHATI (260 Kms / 8 Hrs)
After breakfast visit Bomdila Monastery and then leave for Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati.
- Day – 11 – TAWANG – BOMDILA (180 Kms / 6-7 Hrs)
Airport / Railway Transfers will be arranged as per the flight schedule.
